Let Us Hear From flira.
The goose bone weathrr prophet
has opened the winter campaign. He
has discovered that the goose bone
this year is clear white all through,
which would, according to the goose
bone and corn husk scientist, indicate
a steady cold winter, with snow from
November to April. Now it is in
order to hear from the woolly worm
prophet. There have been instances
when the woolly worm prediction
neutralised the effects of the goose
bone calamity.
Thirteen young ladies at Cape May,
N. J., have organized an anti-cigarette
league and vow to neither associate
with young men who smoke cigarettes
nor accept their hands in marriage.
The above organization should
spread until these leagues are not only
in every town in New Jersey but also
in every hamlet in Pennsylvania.
A movement is on foot among the
Old Soldiers to form a county organi

Veterans' Association. The organi

will include all old soldiers. They
will meet once a year for a general
reunion. A similar organization has
been formed in other counties.
The school advantages of the pres

One of the mysteries of life is, that

approve of Scott's Emulsion. For whom ?
I'or men and women who are weak, when they
should be strong; for babies and children who are thin,
when thev should be fat; for all who do not get from
their food the nourishment they should. Poor blood is
starved blood. You cat and are nourished. Consump
tion and scrofula never come when the blood gets its
proper food. And nothing is better for starved blood
than cod-liver oil.
Scott's Emulsion
is cod-liver oil with the taste taken out. It is for all
who feel weak, have lost appetite or are losing flesh.
