$100 Howard, $100. The readers of this paper will tic pleased to learn that there is at least one dreaded disease that science h.is been able to cure in alt its stages, and that is Catarrh. Hall's Catarrh Cure is the on'y positive cure known to the medical fraternity. Catarrh being a constitutional diseas-., requires a con stitutional treatment. Hall's Catarrn Cure is taken internally, acting direct ly on the blood and mucous surfaces of the system, thereby destroying ilic foundation of the disease, ami giving the patient strength by building up the constitution and assisting na ture in doing its work. The proprie tors have so much faith in its curative powers, that they offer One - Hundred Dollars for any case that it fails to cure. Send for list of testimonials. Address F. J. CHENEY, & CO., Toledo, O. 5TSold by Druggists, 75c. im. Who Makes Burglars' Tools? THEY ARK BEING CAPTURED EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE WHERE DO THEY COME FROM ? Every little while the police arrest a man with a kit of burglars' tools in his possession, and one patura'ly won ders where they all come from. It is easy to buy a gun ot any description, and the most reputable citizen would not be ashamed to be seen t urchasing the most wicked looking knife ever made ; but who would know where to get a slung shot, or a jimmie, or a de vice for drilling into a safe, or any of the many tools used by the profession al burglar in the pursuit of his calling? There probably are places in many large cities where these things are made and sold to the users, but such places are scarce. Once in a while the police find such a factory, and then things go hard for the proprie tors. It may seem a little strange to learn that most of the tools used in burglar ies are made by mechanics who are looked upon as repectable men in the community. When a burglar wants any particular tool made he goes to a mechanic who can do the job, and pays him perhaps five times what it is actually worth for making the tool and keeping still about it. Chicago Her ald. The usual treatment of catarrh is very unsatisfactory, as thousands can testify. Proper local treatment is posi tively necessary to success, but many, if not most, of the remedies in gener al use afford but temporary relief. A cure certainly cannot be expected from snuffs, powders and washes. Ely's Cream Balm, which is to highly commended, is a remedy which com bines the important requisites of quick action, specific curative power, with perfect safety and pleasantness to the patient. The druggists all sell it. Fashionable Livery. The well known horseman has opened a fashionable livery in connec tion with his boarding stable at the Exchange Hotel Stables, where fine turnouts can be obtained, single or double. lie has well broken and safe saddle and driving horses for ladies, all at reasonable rates. Orders left at the Exchange Hotel will receive prompt attention. Drivers furnished when desired. tf V. A. Hartzell, Proprietor A lot of new notes of the sharpest kind have just been printed and are for sale at this office. Also common receipts, estate receipts, and collec tors' receipts, neatly bound in books f !5 50 and 100. tf. A Sad Predicament. Mabel I was so mortified at the Touch mansion the other night.
