AN ACT- To provide for the appointment and in crease the efficiency of the Commis sioners of Fisheries of this Commonwealth- Sec. .Jie it enacted, Ce, That the Governor of the commonwealth is hereby authorized and required, upon the expiration of the terms of office of the person and persons who may hold and exercise the ofllce of fish commis sioner of this state, to appoint, sub ject to approval by the Senate, six competent citizens of this state to be and act as a board of fishery comis sioncrs, no two of who shall be from the same senatorial district, and shall upon such appointment, designate which two of said persons shall re ceive and hold office during the term of one year : w". i .h two shall receive and hold office during .he term of two years, and which two of said persons shall receive and hold office during the term of three years. Section a. Upon the death, resig nation or removal from otTlce of any person so appointed as aforesaid, the Governor shall appoint a competent person to serve for the unexpired term of the person so dying, resigning or removed, subject to the approval by the Senate at its next meeting, if such meeting shall be before the expiration of the term of office of such appointee. Section 3 Upon the expiration of the term of office of any person so ap pointed and designated under the pro visions of this act, their successors shall be appointed in manner afore said, for tne term of three years, so that there shall be not more than two vacancies at any one time in such commission, and the terms of two commissioners shall expire thereafter each year. Section 4. Any person or persons appointed commissioners by virtue of this act. shall be subject to, and liable for, all the duties, provisions and obli ligations given and imposed by any law of this commonwealth now in force, or hereafter enacted, and refer ring to the duties and obligations of the Commissioners of Fisheries of this commonwealth. Section 5. Nothing herein con tained shall interfere or alter the terms of office of the commissioners now acting, and they shall continue in of fice until the expiration of the term of which they were appointed. Section 6. In the event of the death, resignation or removal from of fice of any person or persons now oc cupying the office of fish commissioner of this commonwealth, the appoint ment or appointments by the Gover nor to supply such vacancy or vacan cies in the board of fishery commis sioners shU be under the provisions of this act.
