Nickle, of Sharpsville, Pa, has been elected valedictorian of the Senior class of The Pennsylvania State College. During his four years of undergraduate residence he has made a record for high scholarship. In the second semester of his Fresh- man year, Nickle was awarded the president’s medal in recognition of the excellence of his classroom: work. He again won the medal in his Soph- omore year. For three successive | years, he has carried off the John Ww. ! White scholarship prize, and he has been elected to three honorary frater- nities. Nickle is a student in the de- partment of electrical engineering, and is a member of the Penn State unit of the Engineer Reserve corps. Upon completion of ‘his college course next month, Nickle expects to enter the signal corps of the army.
