the death of ex-Sheriff McCoy, of this
county, at Philipsburg,-at his residence,
on Thursday of last week. Sheriff
McCoy wits one of our best citizens and
his-decettso will create a feeling of gen
eral sorrow throughout the county. Ile
was prominent as a candidate for re
election last fall, but withdrew his name
front before the nominating convention
