WOOIYS " RESTORATIVE CORDIAL, AND BLOOD RENOVATOR, Is precisely what its name indicates, r, p While pleasant to the taste, itis revivifying, exhilarating,.and strengthening to the vi- tal powers. It also revivifies, reinstates and renews the bloed in all its original pu- rity, and thus restores and renders the sys- tem invulnerable to attacks of disease. It is the only preparation ever cfiered to the world in a popular form zo as to be within the reach of all. So chemically and skill- fully combined as to be the most powerful tonic, and yet, so perfectly adapated to as to act in perfect accordance with the laws of nature, and hence soothe the weakest stomael, and tone up the digestive organs, aud allay all nervous and other irritation. 1t is also perfertly exhilarating in its effects, dl id yet it is never followed by lassitude or 4 ¢ P i 0 A ¢ ression of spirits. It is composed en- tirely of vegetables and those thoroughly combining powerful tonic and soothing propert and consequently can never in jure. Such a remedy haslong been felt to be a disderatum in the medical world a both by the thoroughly skilled in medical science, and also by all who have suffered from debility; for it need® no medical skill or knowledge even to see that debili- ty follows all attacks of disease, and lays the unguarded system open to the attacks of many of the most dangerous to which poor humanity is constantly reliable. Such for example, as the following : Consump- tion, Bronchitis, Indigestion, Dyspepsia, Loss of Appetite, Faintness, Nervous Ir- ritability, Neuralgia. Palpitation of the Heart, Me'ancholy, Hypocondria, Night Sweats, Languor. And as it acts di- rectly and persistently upon the biliary system, arousing the Liver to action, pro- moting, in fact, all the excretions and se- eretions of the system, it will infallibly prevent any deliterious consequences fol- lowing upon change of climate and water ; hence all travelers should have a bottle * with them, and all should take a table p B H f Hi po 0 u spoonful at least before eating. Nov. 14. THE ONLY DISCOVERY . WORTHY OF ANY CONFIDENCE FOR RERTORING THE BALD AND GRAY : 0 Many, since the great discovery of Prof. Wood, have atterzpted not only to imitate his restorative, but profess to have discovered something that would produce results identical ; but they haye all come and gone, being earried away by the wonderful results of Prof. Weod’s preparation, and have been forced to leave the field to its re- sistless sway. Read the following : Barn, Mane, April 18th, 1859. Pror 0.J. Woon & Co: Gents:—The letter I'wrote you in 1836, concerning your valuable Hair Restorative, and which you have published in this vicinity and elsewhere, has given rise tp... numerous enquiries touching the facts ip hs ease. The enquiries are, first, isit a factof my habita- tion and name, as stated in the communication, second, is it true of all therein coutained ; third; dees my hair still continue to be in good order and ofnaturalcolor ? To all I can and do ansyer in- variably yes. My hair is even better thanin an stage of my life for 40 years past, more soft, thrif- ty, and better colored ; the same is true of my hwiskers, and the only cause why it is not gener ally true, is that the substance is washed o by frequent abolution of the face, when if care were used by wiping the face in close connection with the whiskers, the same result will follow ex ‘tn hair. I have been in the feugin of 'a great num- ber of letters from all parls of New England, ask- ing me if my hairstill continues to be good ; as there is so much fraud in the manufacture and sale of various compounds as well as this, it has, no doubt been basely imitated and been used, not only without any good effect, but to absolute in jury. I have not used any of your Restorative of any account for some months, and yet my hair is as good as ever, and hundreds have exam oH with surprise, asI am now 61 years old and nota gray hair in my head or on my face ; and to prove this fact, [ send Jou a lock of my hair taken off the past week. received your favor of two quart bottles last summer, for which I am very grate- ful ; I gave it to my friends and thereby induced them to try it, many were skeptical until after trial and then purchased and used it with univer - sal uccess. I will askas a favor, that you send me a test by which I can discover fraud in the Restorative, sold by many, I fear, without author- tty from you. A pure article will insure success, and I believe where good effects do not follow. the failure is caused by the impure article, which curs- es the inveutor of the good. I deem it my duty, as horetofore, 10 keep you apprised of the contin- ued effect on my hair, as I assure all who enquire of me of my uushaken opinion of its valuable re- sults. I remain, dear sir, yours, A. C.RAYMOND. Aaross Rox, Ky., Nov. 30, 1858, Pror. 0. J. Woon : Dear sir.—I would certain- ly be doing you a great injustice not to make known to the world, the wonderful, as well as the unexpected result I have experienced from using oxg bottle of your Hair Restorative. After using every kind of Restoratives extant, but without success, and finding my head nearly destitute of hair, I was finally induced to try a bottle of your Hair Restorative. Now, candor and justice com- pel me to announce to whoever may read this, that I now possess a new and beautiful head of hair, which I pronounce richer and handsomer than the original wos. I will therefore take occasion to re- commend this invaluable remedy to ALL who may teel the necessity of it. I remain respectfully yours, REV. S. ALLENBROCK. P. S.—This testimonial of my approbation for your valuable medicine (as you are aware of) is unsolicited :—but if you think it worthy a place among the rest, insert if you wish; if not destroy and say nothing. Yours, REV.8.A.B. The Restorative is put in bottles of three sizes, viz : large, medium and small ; the small hold Lalf a pint and retails for one dollar per bottle ; the mediums hold at least twenty per cent. more in proportion than the small, retails for two dollars a bottle , the large holds a qnart, forty per cent. more in proportion and retails for three dollars a bottle. 0.J.
