Sy the fif teenth section or that law, authority, is given to the U. S. Marshal to prosecute all persons refusing to make the returns required of thorn, the penalty imposed being $3O and costs. Cut eitizens should remember •that • they are subject to a line of $3O for not an sweting readily and correctly, the questions of the Marshal. tt is thought the tines which' will be collected in this way will go far towards paying the oZponses of taking the census.
