Justice McAdams took charge of the body. James Conroy, conductor of a coal train on the Heading llailroad, who was run over on that road, at the Falls of Schuylkill, on Wednesday last, died from his injuries on Saturday last, at the Episcopal Hospital. About r o'clock yesterday afternoon. Charles Culp, aged twenty-seven years, was run over by a Kidge avenue car at Ilidge and College avrnues. One of his feet was badly crushed. He was taken to St. Joseph's Hos pital. The Tennsylvania State IHlliard Tourna ment, which commenced on Monday night laht, closed on lost. Saturday night. An in;uust was held on Sat.irday last, by Coroner Taylor, in the case of Mrs. Ann Gor don, who died at her house, in the rear of No. 1:;l'J Mott street, on Friday last, from injuries alleged to have been received on the preceding Saturday. The jury rendered a verdict thut the said Ann Gordon came to her death from injuries received at the hands of David Gordon and Mrs. Susan Green. The defendants were committed to answer. Tho store of Mr. E. Christman, No. 702 Chesnut street, received some damage by water yesterday morning through a spigot in the third story of the building not having been turned off. The stock of Mr. Christman consists principally of imported fancy goods, such 88 ladies' desk, dressing-cases, costly fans, line cutlery, toilet soaps, perfumery, etc. The greatest portion of these were in jured, and the loss, as estimated, will amount to at least three thousand dollars. Mr. Edgai F. Daton, jeweler, occupies a portion of the store, and also sustained some loss. A meeting of the Maternal Association of Fhiladelphia was held yesterday afternoon in llev. An important decision was rendered by the Supreme Court on Saturday, upholding the assessment for taxation of the Union Pacific Railroad by the State of Kansas. A resolution to pass over the Tariff bill to take up a bill for the reduction of taxa tion was offered in the House on Saturday by Mr. Jndd, and, after a lengthy debate, negatived. Fo retail Affair. Several meetings in reference to the plebit citum were held in Paris yesterday, .but there was no disorder. A letter from Rome tells this story: The famous Trabucco, who was accused of participation in a plot against the life of Na poleon III, but was acquitted on the plea of insufficient testimony, was advertised last week to play a cornet solo at a great popular concert in the Florentini Theatre at Naples. The house was filled from pit to dome. Tra bucco made his appearance, bowed, raised the horn to his lips, and emitted a series of the most frightful discords. The audience hissed and bowled, but Trabucco, nothing daunted, continued his cacophony until the signs of disapproval became bo violent that the police uniforms began to appear in different parts of the theatre. Then he stopped, advanced to the footlights, and, waving his instrument f gracefully, said: "None of you came here to isten to my playing: you wanted to see a conspirator; look at me then well, for I am the man !"
