A neat gothlc church for the Episcopal society

spire one hundred feet high, and its auditorium
will nccommodato three hundred and fifty

Transactions In real cstato have been nume
rous. Hales are reported of lots on Superior
street at about sixty dollars per foot; on First
street at eighteen, on Second at ten, on Third at
seven, and on Minnesota Point at seven dollars
and a half.
In answer to many inquiries I w ill state that
the ordinary size of lots in the First Division is
fifty by ono hundred and forty feet; on Minne
sota Point, forty by ono hundred, but lots near
corners are frequently smaller by reason of sub
divisions made to front on tho avenues. Much
work has been accomplished In cutting out and
grading streets and in building sidewalks. 'A
contract Is made for the extension of Superior
street two miles northeasterly along tho lake
shore.
Lake Superior is still open to navigation, but
tho bay is closed by Ice. The thermometer has
not yet fallen below zero, and our weather is
quable and pleasant.
Mr. Henry A. Gould, "of Boston, Mass., who
