In 1H04 he murdered Mr. Johmou, who came to Kentucky with a drove of cattle, which he had sold and tor which he had received the noney. Terrell decoyed the nnsupecttte drover out a few mile Irom Shelbyville, when lie knocked him on the head, stripped the body of what money was upon It, and then threw it in'o Clear creek. He was Indicted and lay In jail lor a long time, until he broke out, and Mi rtly afterwards visited Shelbyville wttn his ganir. He was attacked by a posse of citizens and fairly riddled with bullets, yet his lime hnd not come for death. He was atterwards enptured, hut by some machination got released on his own bond, tin one occasion he was courting a beautiful girl. Her brother had come into the parlor and was Introduced to Terrell. Tne vounir.mnu had on a fiLe pair of new boot'). About three months ago Terrell was phot and wounded in five or six places by a brother-in-law, whom he bad grosnly wrongel. This fin tailed his career, so far as sptlliug blood was concerned.
