City AiT(lr. On Wednesday. Coroner Daniels held an inquest on the body ot James Thompson, wao died lrom the ellects of a kick or kicks. The testimony was to tbe effect that Thompson aud Patrick Keegan bad a tight, which resulted in the violent kicking ot Thomp-ou ia the abdo men, wounding Uira so severely tbat death resulted in about forty-eight hours. The jury attributed tbe death, in their verdict, to the -injuries inflicted by Keegau, and the Coroner committed him for trial.
