Byron, entitled Blow for B'ore and 1 he Lancashire Last, have been performed wi'.h much success in England. A new play by Mr. Palgrave Simpson, en tilled Time and the Bow, has been successfully produced at the Boston Museum. Two of the leading characters were performed by Mr. Wil liam Warren and Mr. W. H. Smith. The legitimate drama will supersede the sensational at Niblo'a Garden, New Fork-, on the 12th Inst. Mr. Edwin Forrest will then com mence an engagement of lour weeks, and After Dark will be b-ought out. Niblo's is now under the management of Mejsrs. Jarrett & Palmer. "Circe," the rather Indifferent novel which was published as the woclc of Mr. Babblngton White, but which was with some show of reason attributed to Miss Braddon, who was acoused of having stolen it bodily it from a French author, has been dramatized by Mr. A. O. Balsey and Mr. Frank W. Potter, of the Newark Courier, and It will be brought out daring the present season at one of the New York theatres. The novel is not a first-class one, but we think that a good play mlgut be constructed from it. At Astlcy's, in London, a four-act play entitled The Conquest of Magdala has been produced in handsome style, with fine sconery, real horses and donkeys, and a whole army of actors and supernumeraries.
