The Injunction Cases'.
It has heretofore been stated thattb United
States Hupreme Court gave no reasons for dls
rnlssiDK the Georgia aDd Mississippi Injunction

1 he reasons have not yet been written, and will
not be known officially until the next term of
the Couit. I'.ut from what has transpired
since its adjournment, there seems to be
no;doribt of the met that the Justices who
denied the flUna; of an amended bill lu tne Mis

no lelevancy to the original bill, and was not
supported by proof that General Ord Intended
to kelze the property or the Htale; and, besides,
it was considered that It such a course slioui.i
be pursued by General Ord, Iha remedy would
be in an application for an injnnctlon aptrt

on the basis of the complainant, who prayed
