marss by which our Watches may invariably be
known.
We manufacture four styles of Watches.

nous sizes, and are sold in gold or silver cases, as
may be required.
It is hardly possible for us to accurately descries j
the numerous imitations to which we have alluded. .
They are usually inscribed with names so nearly
approaching our own as to escape tha observation J
of the unaccustomed buyet. Some are represented j
as made by the' Union Watch C0.,0f Boston,MassV
—no such company existing. Some are named the j
"Soldier's Watch," to be sold as our Fourth or Wm. j
tilery style, usually known as the 'Soldier's Watch.' j
Others are named the "Appieton Wstch Co.;" oth- j
trs the "P. S. BartLEY," instead of our ''p. S, Bail- j
let!besides many varieties named .n such a man
ner as to convey the idea that they are the verita
ble productions of the American Watch Company.
We also caution the public, and particuiaily sol

'Company." All flat, borcable territory, at present
under cultivation, with a good lrame house upon it.
5. Three acres in fee simple on the Allegheny
river, just below tbe mouth of the Ciarion river.

territory yet discovered. Nine-tenths of the wells
I bored on tins stream have been successful. The
great "Reed" well, flowing 375 barrel, per day. the
j '•Mour tain" well flowing 400, and in fact nearly ai!
i of the large wells yet struck, are located on Cfcer
i :y Run.
It is pioposeu 'o sell a sufficient cumber of share-,
to pay for the territory and raise wot king capital
lor its development, at the low price of twenty-five
cents per share, thus placing every subscriber t-j this

stock remaining unsold after the purchase money
