Manheim Farm Show (Continued from Page A 22) “4-H.” Before Becker’s announcement was done, he saluted one man who supported the program since the beginning Mylin Good, who turned 91 this week. Becker noted Good was the “first” 4-H leader in the county, but Good corrected him and said he was actually the “third.” Nevertheless, Becker honored Good before the start of the 50th anniversary Manheim Farm Show Youth Live stock Sale late last week at the fairgrounds. Good told the crowd, which included standing-room only near ringside, “I want to thank those who supported, over the years, the 4-H and FFA.” At the sale, there were 16 market goats, 99 market hogs, 18 market lambs, 12 market steer, and 25 dairy beef. Champion youth dairy milk, exhibited by Corby Ziegler, was purchased for $1,175 by Manheim Auto Auction. Re serve youth dairy milk, exhibited by Blake Brubaker, was purchased by Blake’s grandparents, Pat and Paul Miller, for $5OO. Items for the horse club were auctioned for $2,050 to Dorothy Metzler.
