The meeting began as always with pledges and then roll call. Beth Giangrieco read the secretaries re port and informed and reviewed some old business. Amanda No wicki read the treasurers’ report. Jessica Sartell told about dairy camp. Megan Carey reminded the club about the car wash for county council. Mrs. Nowicki urged the club members to attend the rodeo. Abby Onyon informed the club of some new events. There was a mandatory livestock meeting for all livestock members July 12; July 16, there was a one-day camp at the Harford fair grounds; July 17, propriateness, and modeling poise. Rachel Siegel, top place recipi ent is 13 and the daughter of Thomas and Linda Siegel of Leb anon. She made and modeled a wool coat, fur scarf, and ear muffs. Natalie Clark, 17, daughter of Rich and Wanda Clark of Bed ford, received second place for a club trip to Knoebels; July 18, 4-H dance at the Montrose fire hall; and July 23, a one-day trip to Bal timore. Demonstrations followed. Amber Lattner and Asia aid their demonstration on the process of making wool and its various uses. Kaitlin and Tara Flor did their demonstration on their boxer-dog, Guenther. Adam Stout did his pre sentation on his pet hermit crabs. Susquehanna County North Jackson Ag 4-H Club The North Jackson Ag 4-H Club met for their last meeting at Joe and Sandy Pavelski’s house. The day started out with a picnic at 1 p.m. and then ended up with a meeting that was called to order at tan suit with burgundy leather skirt and lapels. Third place went to Rachel Ranck, 14, daughter of Jim and Joan Ranck of Christiana, who made and modeled denim jeans and a corduroy jacket. The top-placed individuals were also a part of a 12 member honors group. Other individuals receiving honors included: Britta- 2:08 p.m. by president Abby Onyon. The meeting started with the American and 4-H pledges. Beth Giangrieco took role call and read the secretaries report and Amanda Nowicki read the trea surer’s report. Holly Carey reported on the live stock clinic; Megan Carey told how the County Council car wash turned out; and Amanda Nowicki told us about the County Council dance. Megan Carey read a list of how everyone did at the scholarship horse show. Abby Onyon informed the club about several events the one-day trip to Baltimore, the Pony roundup and Dairy roundup. The club will be taking a trip to Kno bels Grove. Demonstrations began with Jes sie Casella, Emily Walker, and Tif fany Carpenter on Jack Russell Terriers, followed by John Valen tine with his presentation on diabe tes. John and Josh McAllister did their demonstration on what it was like to be at the one-day camp.
