The William Kick of Windy Acres Jerseys, Troy, captured both the premier breeder and premier ex hibitor banners in the Jersey breed at the 2003 Troy Fair open colored breed show, while Noble dale Farm, of Gillett captured all four champion ribbons. The grand champion of the Jersey show was Nobledale Pa rade Vacationa, a 4-year-old. The reserve grand champion was No bledale Freedom Valor ET, a sen ior 2-year-old. Named junior champion Jersey was Nobledale Mor Valory, a winter calf. The re serve junior champion was Maria Noble’s Nobledale Perimeter Ver nell - ET, a fall yearling. In the Ayrshire show, the Sharer family earned the premier exhibitor banner and Doug and Donna Stewart and family took home the premier breeder ban- The premier breeder banner of the Ayrshire show was awarded to Doug and Donna Stewart. Amberleigh Yurkanin’s second place aged cow took the reserve grand champion honors. The junior champion Ayrshire was Stepha nie Padula’s spring yearling, Lone Elm Shaker Melody. A win ter calf, Strathbum Pardner Na tasha, owned by Kyle Sharer, was named the reserve junior champi The champion Brown Swiss was Towpath Star Cara, a junior 3-year-old owned by Abbie Kuhl man. The reserve grand champi on was Des Saules Danger Gal axie, an aged cow owned by Renee Shores. Kurtis Page exhib ited both the junior and reserve junior champions of the Brown Swiss show. The junior champion was Rocky Slope RL Banker Jen try and the reserve junior cham- pion was Rocky Slope RL Banker Hope. In the Guernsey show, the grand champion was senior 3-year-old Maple Knoll Larry Tulip, owned by Adam Lutz. The reserve grand champion was also the junior champion, Ripley Farms Blaze Synn, a summer yearling owned by Erica Kuhl man. The reserve junior champi on was Jasmyn Roehrig’s spring calf, J. Longvue Patsys Davis Alyssa. Brian Sparling’s four-year-old, Gold Mine Poppy’s DTK, took grand champion Milking Short horn honors, while Matt Thomas’ senior 3-year-old, Echo Farm Conquest Camivil Exp, was named the reserve grand champi on of the show. The Junior cham pion Milking Shorthorn was D- Andrews Othello Anabel, a win ter yearling owned by Duane and Ellen Andrews.
