Y. Fruit Growers Can Apply For IPM Funds ITHACA, N. Y. Fruit grow ers in New York are eligible to apply to the Natural Resources Conservation Service branch of USDA for reimbursement for in tegrated pest management (IPM) practices that contribute to envi ronmental conservation. According to Frances Tucker of the NYS Agricultural & Envi ronmental Management Program (AEM), farmers should visit their local NRCS office to apply for the reimbursement. Depending on whether a farm is a standard, limited resource, or beginning farm, reim bursement opportuni- i— —— ties for IPM practice can vary from 50/50 to 90/10 cost sharing.
