In the new formula, calcium propionate has increased by 250 percent to meet university rec ommendations. Recent trials have shown that drenching fresh cows with 100 to ISO grams of RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. The Environ mental Protection Agency has approved Equip™ corn herbicide for this growing season. Equip is a broad-spectrum herbicide that controls grasses such as foxtail, johnsongrass, and shattercane. It also delivers control of broadleaf weeds in cluding cocklebur, lamb’s quarter, morningglory, ragweed, sunflower, and veivetleaf. Bayer Cropscience, Equip manufacturer, reports that Equip contains a new proprietary herbicide for broad leaf control that also offers tar geted residual for continued control of small-seeded broa dleaves such as lamb’s-quarter, pigweed, and smartweed.
