When a little water is added to the pan and the rack is used to warm things without drying them out, the water stains on the aluminum are practi cally black. ANSWER - Wade Monnk, president of the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad Preservation So ciety of Muddy Creek Forks had requested a 1920’s Wayne gas station pump and a meat grinder attach ment for a Maytag washing machine. Although the so ciety didn’t receive the items requested, they are thrilled with the response of readers inquiring about the location of the society and for Rick Shenberger, Arville, who saw the re quest and donated a piece of local history to the so ciety. Shenberger’s iron mule garden tractor made at Durham’s machine shop about 60 years ago is in good condition.
