The New York Beef Industry
Council (NYBIC) was fortunate
to again have volunteers from the
American National Cattle W
omen, National Beef Ambassador
program, Nebraska Cattlemen,
and New York State to help with
the sampling efforts. During the
course of the fair the NYBIC
served 39,892 samples; 8,235
samples were served on Beef Day
alone. Additionally, the Ameri
can National Cattle Women con
ducted IS cooking demonstra
tions with two recipes each
session.
Beef Day is an eagerly antici
pated event, as local media and
beef producers join together to
promote the benefits of beef. This
year, Beef Day began with NY
BIC’s appearance on Syracuse’s
WIXT Daybreak Show. The
