Trade sentiment was irregular, ranging
about steady to weak, but was mostly
about steady. Retail demand was limited
to fair, best where featured. Food service
was light to instances moderate with fast
food promotions strongest Supplies were
at least adequate and often discounted to
help move. In the parts structure, tenders
were in the better balance compared to
the remaining breast items which were
adequate to ample and lower priced to aid
m movement. Wings were in balance and
clearing well, and dark meat was mostly
sufficient. In production areas, live sup
plies were moderate. Weights were desira
ble to heavy, mostly desirable.

other areas, prices were generally un

closely balanced Breaking stock supplies
were fully sufficient to tight for the light

Prices remained unchanged. The mar
ket tone was fully steady. Retail and dis
tributive demand ranged moderate to
good. Supplies were irregular for current
trade needs. The New York Slate shell
egg inventory was 19% higher and the
New Jersey inventory was 34% higher
than the previous week.

ers, USDA Grade A and Grade A, White

compared to previous week’s trading.
Trade was generally struggling on salt

Trading and demand was light to fair.
Frozen supplies were in close balance to

eggs (ingredients included) processed
under federal inspection in the Eastern
region for the week ending September 07,
2002 were 9% lower than the previous
