Fayettes Lizzy,” a 4-year-old exhibited by 4-H’er Terri Johnson, York, took su preme champion honors at the York Fair. In addition to her su preme and open class wins, Lizzy was selected top over the junior division Guernsey breed competi tion. Supreme judging capped the annual York Fair’s dairy show competition, with more than 160 head entered, and five breed champions competing for the coveted best-overall title. Others in the supreme runoff lineup were: Ayrshire junior and open division champion, “Farm Valley Soldier Harmony,” 4-year-old bred and exhibited by Susan Richardson, Fawn Grove; Brown Swiss, “Foust Hill Farm Lolli pop,” senior three bred and ex hibited by David Krone, Foust Hill Farm, Glen Rock; Holstein, “Sunnybend Jump for Joy,” bred and exhibited by Tom Boyer fam ily, Sunnybend Farm, York; Jer sey junior and open, “Jules Tid bit,” exhibited by Amanda Thompson, Wellsville; and Milk ing Shorthorn, “Joy-El Resolve Susan Richardson, named the York Fair’s champion showman, exhibited the Ayrshire grand champion in both open and junior shows.
