“It’s the first time I’ve ever won
the grand champion,” said Wivell of
Donegal Creek Farm, Columbia. His
winning 4-year-old cow, Zorland
Storm Edith, is classified Excellent
with an EX-92 udder. It was her first
time in the show ring.
Wivell was also named premier ex
hibitor.
Tom Spring, who will be a junior
this fall at Solanco High School, took
junior champion honors with his fall
yearling heifer, Welk-Shade Lee Kit
ten.
The Quarryville youth has been
showing dairy animals for seven
years. His sucess this year marks his
third time as a champion exhibitor.
The same winning heifer was previ
ously named junior champion at the
Solanco Fair last fall.
Selected as winners for their con
duct as showpersons were Jennifer
Aument, 8- to 10-year-old division;
