Trade sentiment was steady on whites, fully steady on whole, and firm on yolks. Trading and demand continued to show signs of improvement, but remained in a light to moderate range. Offerings were adequate for immediate trade re quirements, although yolks were held with increased confidence. Liquid and frozen eggs (ingredients included) pro cessed under federal inspection in the Eastern region for the week ending May 25, 2002 were 7% lower than the previous week, but 2% higher than a year ago.
