PRICES OF CONDENSED SKIM, dollars per lb. wet solids, F. 0.8. produc ing plants: Northeast: Class 11, includes monthly formula prices: .9200-1.0250; Class 111 - spot prices - .7500-.9600. SPOT SHIPMENTS OF GRADE A MILK: FLORIDA: This week - In 0, Out 231; last week - In 0, Out 198; last year - In 0, Out 120. SOUTHEAST STATES; This week - In 0, Out 0; last week - In 0, Out 0; last year - In 0, Out 0. Milk production is generally at peak levels throughout the region with some modest declines noted in the North. Sea sonal temperatures, especially in the South, are expected to encourage lower production over the next few weeks. How ever, even at the lower production vol umes, heavy milk supplies are expected to remain available. Florida handlers contin ue to ship milk out of state to manufac turing plants with loads handled exceed ing the week prior. Bottling schedules are reduced due to lackluster interest follow ing typical school recesses. Some schools still remain in session, suggesting that Class I interest will continue to decline, at least through the first half of the month. Consequently, more milk is available for manufacturing. Most facilities are operat ing at capacity yet some slight declines into chums is noted as milk and cream are diverted into Class II facilities. Fluid milk movement into Class 111 facilities is slow while steady intakes are noted into NDM processing plants. Sales of condensed skim are light as NDM is more attractively priced. Produc tion of condensed skim is steady and sup plies are sometimes burdensome. Plants attempting to divert condensed skim into dryers are not readily finding manufac turers to take supplies. Demand for con densed skim is light into Class 111 facili ties and fair at best into Class II plants. Cream demand is higher yet supplies remain available. While ice cream pro duction schedules are increasing, output remains below expectations for this time of year. Cream demand into cream cheese facilities is good. Cream prices are trend ing higher due to the higher weekly aver age CME butter price. Multiples are mostly unchanged to slightly lower. 0330 Fonderwhite Road, Lebanon, PA 17042 Dairy Products Prices Highlights Washington, D. C.
