Retail and food service movement was mixed, fair to good, strongest for ads and promotions with further increase expected as Mother’s Day nears. Supplies of smaller sizes were bal anced to close, heavier weights adequate and often more available. In the parts structure, trading was light to fairly good with some retail ads reported. Breast items were irregular with bone in breasts barely adequate to short, boneless skinless close, and all others available. Leg items were mostly sufficient, and wings were at least adequate with little interest. In pro duction area, live supplies were moderate. Weights were desirable to heavy, mostly desirable. The 12-City Weighted Average Price for 05/06/02 was 55.83, com pared to 53.84 last week, and 59.10 a year ago.
