Several CCC donation wheat purchases were reported but other commodities were Slighted. Wheat steady to 2 cents lower. Corn steady to 1 cent lower except Minneapolis 3 cents higher. Sorghum 2 cents lower. Soybeans 4 to 7 cents lower. Slightly lower wheat bids were under pinned by crop concerns in winter wheat growing areas. Recent warm tempera tures and lack of snow cover could mean damage if cold temperatures should settle back into the area. Corn bids were pressured by contin ued technical selling on the Board. Addi tional wet weather is forecast for Southern Brazil this week. Sharp de clines were noted in bean pits as spillover weakness from the past three days con tinued. Export demand remained slow and China talks kept a negative tone in soybean pits EXPORT SALES: PURCHASER COMMODITY TONNAGE DELIV ERY DATE CCC Mozambique 12.0 pet Hard Red Winter Wheat 12,000 Feb 13.0 pet Northern Spring Wheat 6,000 CCC Kenya 12.5 pet Hard Red Winter Wheat 20,000 Feb CCC Ethiopia Soft White Wheat 15,680 Feb Totals: Wheat 5,680 tonnes THESE MAY NOT BE THE ONLY EXPORT SALES THAT HAVE TRAN SPIRED, BUT THEY ARE THE ONLY SALES THAT COULD BE CON FIRMED BY USDA GRAIN MARKET NEWS DATE CHANGE YEAR AGO TRUCK BIDS: o‘/23/02 o'/i2/01 o'/a4/01 Wheat: Kansas City (HRW ORD) 2.87- 2.90 dn 1 3.00-3.02 Minneapolis (DNS) 3.33 dn 2 Vi 3.58 Portland (SWW) 3.68- 3.70 unch-dn 1 3.03-3.05 St. Louis (SRW) 2.97-2.98 up 12.50-2.51 Corn, US 2 Yellow: Kansas City 2 01 dn 1 2 04-2.06 Minneapolis 187 3 A up 3 1.83 Vi So. lowa 1.97-1.98 dn 1-unch 1.97-2.01 Omaha 1 89 unch-dn 1 1.82- 14 & 15, 2002 800-646-66 717-86 339 King Street, Myerstown ?A 1.90 Soybeans, US 1 Yellow: Kansas City 4.26-4.27 dn 4-5 4.60 Minneapolis 4.09 Vi dn 5 Vi 4.34 V* So. lowa 4.21-4.25 dn 7-4 4.51-4.57 Cent. □ Processor 4.33 >/2-4,37 Vi dn Vi-5 Vi 4.63 3 /<-4.73 V* Min neapolis truck - to arrive 20 days FUTURES: Kansas City (Mar) Wheat 2.89 Vi dn 1 3.32 '/« Minneapolis (Mar) Wheat 3.01 dn 1 Vi 3.31 Chicago (Mar) Wheat 2.97 up 1 Vi 2.85 Vi Chicago (Mar) Corn 2.08 V. dn 1 2.15 Vi Chicago (Mar) Soybeans 4.33 Vi dn 5 Vi 4.67 Vi EXPORT BIDS: Barge bids out of Port of New Orleans or Rail out of North Texas Gulf.
