Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2
p.m. with a large offering of
Horticultural Association,
the 2002 program will focus
on weed control, disease
management, high tunnels,
sweet corn IPM, crop insur
ance, and more.

The Great Frederick Fair
Farmers’ Market is in its 27th
year, and today is still the
only year-round market in
Frederick County.
Speakers include Mike Or
zolek, Jayson Harper, Bill
Lamont, Alan Mac Nab, and
John Esslinger from Penn
State. Ronald Edwards from
the Pennsylvania Depart
ment of Agriculture will be
present to speak and assign
pesticide applicator training
credits for recertification.
