Sponsored by Penn State Cooperative Extension and the Lackawanna County is the yogurt, and farm fresh eggs. Joining them in the market is Truck Patch Vegetables, New Windsor, with a variety of fresh greens such as turnips, spinach, salad mixes and other vegetables. Other ven dors are Dorseys’ Meats and Ms. Hatties Bake Shop. The Great Frederick Fair Farmers’ Market is open each Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a large offering of Horticultural Association, the 2002 program will focus on weed control, disease management, high tunnels, sweet corn IPM, crop insur ance, and more. products such as fresh meats, baked goods, herbs, fresh vegetables, dairy products, and handmade items. The Great Frederick Fair Farmers’ Market is in its 27th year, and today is still the only year-round market in Frederick County. Ronald Edwards from the Pennsylvania Depart ment of Agriculture will be present to speak and assign pesticide applicator training credits for recertification.
