Demand moderate. Steer and heifer calves steady to 2.00 higher with 4 weights recovering part of last week’s big losses Calf demand im proved to moderate as feedlots moved into light calf market as well as in creased interest for wheat pasture. Wheat pastures in need of ram which is not in nearby forecast. Western and northern Oklahoma in worst shape and these areas account for bulk of wheat country. Receipts this week 9950; last week 13,173; last year 7054. Supply consisted of 51 percent yearlings and calves over 600 lbs, 44 percent calves; 5 percent cows and bulls. Heifers comprised 38 percent of feeder and calf supply.
