Adams County Conducts 17th Annual 4-H Beef Show And Sale ARNDTSVILLE (Adams Co.) The 17th Annual Adams County 4-H Beef Sale was held as part of the South Mountain Fair. Twenty-three Adams Coun ty 4-H members and two FFA members sold their steers at the sale. The grand champion 4-H steer, owned by Kelsey Diehl, Fairfield, was purchased by Hoss’s Steak & Sea House, Gettysburg for $2.60 a pound. The Adams County Beef Producers Association do nated the champion steer banner for Kelsey and Southern States Taneytown, donated the banner for Hoss’s. Elections for County Commit tee membership will be con ducted on Dec. 3. FSA is present ly seeking nominations for the slate from eligible persons.
