About 240 dairy animals were on display for the combined 4-H and FFA Holstein and open colored breed dairy shows here this Tues day. Bradley Hoover’s 5-year-old Holstein Brook-Comer News maker Myra made news indeed when she took grand champion Holstein, then went on to win su preme champion dairy animal at the show, earning the Dale Maul fair Jr. Memorial Trophy. Hoover has been around Hol steins his whole life, on the farm of his parents Reid and Diane Hoover. A 4-H member, he has been showing dairy an imals since he was about eight years old Hoover will be a senior at Annville- Cleona High School this fall. 4-H Junior grand champion Holstein went to a fall heifer calf owned and exhibi ted by Nathan Beiler. A student at Lebanon Christian Academy, Beiler, 12, has been participating in dairy shows for about four years. Colored breed grand champions went to Dale Mauifair, Ayr shire; David Satta zahn.
