The first harvest is lettuce and
sugar peas. I’ve planted three
kinds of peas and so the harvest
is stretched out for three weeks.

not be eating regularly. At least,
he is not catching all of the baby
bunnies that live here. We have
caught several in a box trap in
my garden and transported them
to another part of the farm, but
they keep coming back to feast
on my row of beans. They did not

been eating some.
Somedays I must forget the
garden and pick .berries. As soon
as the strawberries are over, we
must climb the hill behind our
house and pick black raspberries.
That is one crop that we have no
trouble getting rid of as most peo
ple welcome a box or two.
