Supplies were limited on yolks, usually adequate on whole, and ir regular but improved on white. Demand was light to good with increased orders noted for future deliveries. Trade senti ment was mixed as traders watch further market developments. The overall tone ranged from about steady to steady. Liquid and frozen eggs (ingredients in cluded) processed under federal inspec tion in the Eastern region for the week ending May 26, 2001 were 5 % less than the previous week, and 9 % less than a year ago.
