Trading opened active and continued through Thursday’s attractive offering. Most of the steer volume came late in the week after the Memorial Day holiday. Local holstein steers traded fully steady. Slaughter heifers sold 1.00 higher on a light supply early in the week. Feedlots in the Plains and Mid west reported live cattle at 76.00-78.00 and 120.00-126.00 dressed basis. Slaugh ter cow prices opened steady and closed uneven, with 85- 90 percent lean trading weak, and 75-85 percent lean 1.00 higher. Slaughter bull prices were steady.
