Northeast Broiler Fryer Parts Parti ATLANTA, GA. March 14,2001 Report Supplied By USDA Trucklot buying activity was mostly light as purchasing activity continued to center around regular committments and dealers found that any extra prod uct on hand was generally difficult to place. Offerings of boneless-skinless breasts were more than sufficient, and bone-in breasts remained readily avail able with discounting often noted. Dark meat parts were at least adequate, al though, leg quarters were usually the best balanced item. Wings remained well cleared. Movement through retail and distributive channels very limited, how ever, spot feature activity was spurring additional interest in some areas. The market tone was no better than steady on boneless skinless breasts, barely steady on bone-in breasts, about steady on the balance.
