Mark your cal endar now to spend part of St. Patrick’s Day at the “New’ York Book and Paper Show on Sat., March 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Plans for a super show are well under way. York Book and Paper Promotions spokesperson, Anne Muren, reports a few spaces are available for dealers. Many professional book and paper sellers from throughout the east and as far away as Michigan have already sent in contracts. “The booths and aisles are spacious,” said Anne, “with plenty of space for wheelchairs, motorized carts and strollers, but there is plenty of room for more than 50 first-class booksellers and paper deal ers.” The first of the “new” shows under new management will be located in the Old Main building at the York Expo Cen ter. The show will feature dealers with rare, old and collectible books, children’s books, paperbacks, paper advertising, post cards, collectible paper items and more. A book appraisal booth will be part of the show in the afternoon. In addition to dealers with rare and antiquarian books, representatives from two local non-profit organizations will be available to distribute information and sell items from their gift shows.
