Trading was only fair but slightly improved eventhough supplies were at least sufficient for trade needs. The un dertone was mixed and unsettled, with some improvement noted on yolks items. Liquid and frozen eggs (ingredients in cluded) processed under federal inspec tion in the Eastern region for the week ending February 24, 2001 were 11 % more than last week, but 6 % less than a year ago. Offerings reduced by recent cutbacks in production were fully adequate to ample, particularly on the 3.5 and 4 pound sizes. Live supplies were moderate to light; weights were mixed in a full range of light to heavy. Processing schedules were moderate. Less than trucklot asking prices were unchanged at 58 to 72 cents. Trade sentiment was barely steady to weak. Boneless skinless and bone-in breasts were irregularly bal anced but where in excess slow to clear. Other cuts were in good balance to closely cleared.
