ANSWER For the reader who wants to know how to store garlic, Catherine Parrish writes that she keeps garlic in a plastic pint size jar with a large paper napkin placed inside to absorb the moisture and keep the garlic from sprouting. If the napkin becomes damp, replace it with a dry one. You can also freeze the cloves in a jar and use as fresh garlic. It freezes very well. ANSWER A reader wrote that a line was missing from the reprinted chorus to the song, “How Betsy made the Flag. The correct words are “She took some red for the blood they shed, some white for purity.
