Association (NCGA), along
with a broad coalition of
farmers, anglers, state re
source agencies and others,
recently joined Sen. Christo
pher “Kit” Bond (R-Mo.)
and Rep. John Tanner (D-
Tenn.) as they introduced
groundbreaking legislation to
restore fisheries habitat and
improve water quality na
tionwide.

Snyder, who was
recently named
NGSP marketing
director, replaces
Aaron Johnson,
who recently de
parted NGSP to
complete his doc
torate and assume
a teaching position
at Texas Tech Uni
versity.
Snyder has a
bachelor’s degree
in agricultural eco
nomics from Texas
Tech University.
His 13 years of
marketing experi
ence in the phar
maceutical and
medical industry
includes his role as
retail sales director
at The Med Group,
a national medical
equipment mar
keting association.
Snyder also was
employed as a
commodities
broker with Dean
Witter Reynolds.
Snyder’s duties
at NGSP will focus
on developing and
implementing a
strategic market
ing and utilization
plan to achieve the
highest possible
market value for
grain sorghum.

new or better mar
kets for our crop,”

NGSP president.

federal monies to create and
enforce new regulations on
landowners, why not direct
new and existing resources to
actual on-the-ground proj
ects, at the landowner’s re

base, using tax dollars in a
