Snyder to the or ganization’s staff. Snyder, who was recently named NGSP marketing director, replaces Aaron Johnson, who recently de parted NGSP to complete his doc torate and assume a teaching position at Texas Tech Uni versity. Snyder has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural eco nomics from Texas Tech University. His 13 years of marketing experi ence in the phar maceutical and medical industry includes his role as retail sales director at The Med Group, a national medical equipment mar keting association. Snyder also was employed as a commodities broker with Dean Witter Reynolds. Snyder’s duties at NGSP will focus on developing and implementing a strategic market ing and utilization plan to achieve the highest possible market value for grain sorghum. “The future of sorghum profita bility relies on im proved yield and new or better mar kets for our crop,” said Leo Bindel, NGSP president. of innovative, public-private partnerships to address water quality concerns on an over all watershed basis.
