In lieu of class sponsor contributions, or buy ing a commercial booth space, vendors will offer items for purchase through a si lent auction. The All- American will receive the revenues from the sales.” This will create ac tivity and excitement in the trade show area explained Lesher. The concept is a direct re sult of the All-Ameri- can Dairy Show meet ings sponsored by Farmshine earlier this year. This interactive trade show is designed to attract dairymen to the trade show dis plays. With an attrac tive display, and the auction lots clearly identified, anyone can easily sign up to bid on the products. The ven dor is responsible for seeing that the prod ucts get to the buyer. Ideally, vendors will offer one or more lots each day. A minimum bid on each lot will be set. These lots are to be part of display, cre ating an opportunity for vendors to visit with dairyman one on one.
