Adams ARENDTSVILLE (Adams Co.) The 17th Annual Adams County 4-H/FFA Swine and Sheep Show and Sale was con ducted here at the South Moun tain Fairgrounds. The members worked hard this spring and summer prepar ing their animals for this event. Thirty-two 4-H and FFA mem bers exhibited 51 market hogs and 29 market lambs before judge Matt Sellers of Thom asville. Andrew Reinecker, 4-H mem ber from York Springs, exhibited the grand champion market swine, purchased by Reinecker Ag Products, York Springs, for $7OO. The grand champion mar ket swine trophy was donated by Nell’s of Littlestown-Sensening’s Meats, Littlestown, and a travel ing plaque was presented by Wayne Feed Supply, Dillsburg. The reserve grand champion market swine, shown by Chris Jeffcoat, 4-H/FFA member from Littlestown, was purchased by Growers Equipment Center, Big lerville, for $250. The reserve grand champion market swine trophy was donated by EMJAY Acres, Littlestown. The grand champion market lamb was exhibited by Jason Brent, FFA member from Fair field, and was purchased by Myers View Farm, Bedford, for $235. The grand champion mar ket lamb trophy was donated by Earl Wilkinson, Gettysburg, and a traveling plaque was presented by Adams County FFA. The reserve grand champion market lamb was shown by Katie Grim, a Fairfield FFA member, and purchased by S & L Show Lambs, Broadway, Va. for $l3O. The reserye grand champion market lamb trophy was donated by Rick Crouse and family, Big lerville, Pa.
