Heather Oberholtzer was presented the 2000 William R. Davey award from last year’s recipient, Mark Mosemann. Curtis Beidel received the August E. Branding Award for the outstanding junior student from last year’s recipient Todd Morris. Angie Morschini was honored by Ken Raney on behalf of the Holstein Association for chairing the Pa. Junior Holstein Conven tion Quiz Bowl contest. This year’s Expo Show winners are from left Tom Über, reserve overall champion, and Steve Palveski, overall champion. David Packard was honored as the 2000 Dairy Expo Show Manager by Ken Raney of the Pennsylvania Holstein Association and Robert Rumler, Holstein Association USA Josh Hushon received the Outstanding First Year Member award from club member Lauren Lynch. Ken Raney of the Pennsylvania Holstein Association presented an award to Diane Clock for chairing the Nittany Lion Fall Clas sic. This year’s dairy judging team that trav eled to the North American Livestock Expo sition in Louisville included from left coach Chad Dechow, Tia Crider, David Miklic, and Nicole Over.
