ANSWER - Barbara Oldantecks wanted to know how to restore a rusted tin roof. Thanks to Phares Stoltzfus, Blain, who writes that he had one that he left a hit and run painter spray paint for $325. A year or two later the rust was showing through. Stoltzfus purchased five gallons of asphalt base aluminum paint for $35 and put it on a dairy barn where silage blowing over it from silo fill ing caused it to rust. It didn’t last either. He then paid $75 for five gallons of Cen- Pe-Co, but found it was a heavy paint and required at least 30 gallons to paint the roof, which would cost $450. A new roof costs approximately $5O per square, which means $3,150 for new tin plus labor on his barn. Compared to that, Ol dantecks might be better off to hire labor to paint on Cen-Pe-Co unless she has some good friends who would volunteer to paint it. In Perry County, Cen-Pe-Co is sold by representative Steve Lightner 789-4559. ANSWER For W. D.
