LQBB BUFFALO FARM Carl Lobb started his buffalo herd in 1992. His nine original
breeding stock calves were purchased from Trexler Game Preserve located in Lehigh County,
Pennsylvania.
Carl's herd is raised on the outskirts of Kutztown (Berks County, Pennsylvania) and has
increased over the last 7 years to 27 head of buffalo. He markets breeding stock and a few
animals for slaughter. Buffalo handling seems to be Carl’s biggest challenge.
Carl farms JQQ acres, of 62 acres are tillable. Corn, Wheat, and Hay are the
farm’s mam crops. Carl, a Young Farmer Memfier, is ve^ 1 anxfcusTo t3lf y6tt"Vm#e aßftbt W 3
