Kristen, four-year Deny FFA member,
plans to attend Penn State Erie to major in
veterinary science and to “play soccer."
Kristen has served as chapter reporter,
treasurer, secretary, and is again treasurer.
She has also served on the fundraiser «nH
supervised ag occupation committees.
In addition, Kristen has completed pro
jects in rabbits, steer, pigs, lambs, and
goats. She won a first place in the county,
second in the area, and third in the region
for extemporaneous public speaking, and
won a silver in practicum skills record

Karl, 17, son of David and Carolyn Pol
lack, Marion Center, plans to attend col
lege and major in animal science.
Karl has served as student adviser and
news reporter. He also was a member of
the Food For America committee.
In addidon, Karl completed a dairy pro
duction project and received his Green
hand and chapter degrees.
Erin E. Price
Erin E. Price plans to obtain a degree in
animal grooming and obedience and start
her own business.
Erin, 18, daughter of Sharon and Bob
Price, Linesvillc, enjoys FFA because the
organization allows her to “go places and
learn lots of things about agriculture, and
all the fun we have.“
Erin, four-year Linesvillc FFA member,
served on the healthy lifestyles and support
group committees. In addidon, Erin has
completed projects in rabbits, goat, child
care, and greenhouse. She received the
Star Rabbit Farmer honor and several
grand champions with rabbits. She also

Robbie, 17, son of Grady L. and Ruth A.
Reisinger, Loysville, also noted that FFA
is important to him because of the people
he meets all over the country.
Robbie has served as chapter parliamen
tarian and reporter, and is vice president. In
addidon, he has served on several commit
tees, including summer trip, calendar, cit
rus, aedvides, and Greenhand.
SAE projects include calf, alfalfa, and
com for four years. He has won awards in
dairy, forestry, landscaping, forage, and
grain, and received degrees in Greenhand,
chapter, Star Greenhand, and area. He
plans to co-own and operate the family
Joie Rchkamp, four-year Greenwood
FFA member, enjoys FFA “because it has
helped me with my organizational and
speaking skills,” she wrote.

Joie, 17, is the daughter of Joe and Kerry
Rehkamp, Millerstown. Joie plans to
attend a four-year university and major in

tee as chair and on the community service
committee. In addition, she has completed
projects, including taking care of horses
from 1997-1999, as ice cream dipper in
1999, and concession stand worker at the
pool in 1998. She received a gold award in
the project book contest in 1999 and placed
in the speaking contest in 1998.
She received her Grecnhand, chapter,
and area degrees.
Autumn, 18, daughter of Gaiy and
Sandra Zimmerman, Mcrccrsburg, plans
to attend Penn State to major in dairy
Autumn has served the past three years
as chapter sentinel. In addition, she has
served on the SAE committee, community
service, and recreational/social

and received several awards, including a
first place on the dairy judging team in the
Eastern States competition, second place
at the Ohio Spring Show on the dairy judg
ing team, and fifth place at the All-
American Invitational Dairy Judging Con

Barbara L. Reichard
Barbara L. Reichard wrote, “I enjoy all
the things I do in FFA, but most of all the
experience of meeting so many people and
all of the memories.”
Barbara, 18, daughter of Jesse and
Tonya Reichard, Waynesboro, is a four
year Blue Ridge FFA member. Barbara
plans to attend college for radiology or
take over the family farm.
Barbara has served as junior vice presi
dent, treasurer, president, and is chapter
secretary. She has served on several com
mittees, including banquet, donkey
basketball, parade, fruit sale, and planning.
In addition, sire has completed dairy
heifer, dairy herd, and dairy cow projects,
was 1998-1999 FFA Member of the Year,
and received her Greenhand and chapter
Tony Lee Resh
FFA member Tony
Lee Resh noted that
meeting new people
and traveling, and the
public speaking con
tests, are his favorites.
“But I really like
meeting new people,
are forever, and you
can never have too many friends,” he
wrote. *Thank you, FFA!”
Tony, 17, son of Tracy and Tammy
Resh, Dover, plans to run for state office,
then go to Penn State to obtain a degree in
agriculture education. He wants to become
an agriculture teacher.
Tony has served as assistant treasurer,
treasurer, vice president, and president. In
addition, he served on the banquet, parade,
and pig toast committees.
Tony has completed on-farm work
experience and in swine production. He
received the swine proficiency award,
extemporaneous public speaking honor, a
third place in the state aquatic resources
competition, and on state FFA chorus. He
received the Star Greenhand, chapter, and
Star Chapter Farmer honors.
