SOYBEAN MEAL: BULK 44* 139.50- 146.50, BULK 48* 152.50- National Grain Market SL Joseph, MO Tue Dec 21, 1999 USDA-MO Dept Ag Market News Daily National Grain Market Summary Grain and soybean bids were mostly lower after Monday's sharp increases. Slowed export interest and a pick up in far mer selling pressured bids. Wheat 1 to 2 cents lower. Com 1 to 2 cents lower. Sorg hum 2 cents lower. Soybeans 1 to 3 cents lower. Slight declines were noted on the Boards today, as traders take some profits going into the holiday weekend Wheat export interest has been light this week but Taiwan and Morocco are expected to len der later this week. Dry conditions still a problem in parts of winter wheat growing areas but moisture is in some upcoming forecasts. Com bids were slightly lower due to light farmer selling reported and light export orders. Additional weakness stemmed from rains in South Africa. Trade corrections in bean pits pushed bean bids slightly lower. Taiwan bought a small amount of soybeans overnight but sales arc down for the week.
