Pa. Junior Jersey Youth En Route To Kentucky LIBERTY (Tioga Co) Junior Jersey members from across Pennsylvania are in Louisville, Ky. this weekend to participate in the North American International Livestock Exposition. Junior Jersey Club members were selected at the State Junior Dairy Show in Harrisburg in September. This year 25 youth exhibitors were selected to show 23 animals at the national show. Nineteen of these juniors accepted the invi tation to be part of the Pennsylvania delegation. While in Louisville, partici pants will have the opportunity to show in the National Youth Jersey show and the National Youth Awards Banquet. They will also have the chance to be awed by the ceremony of the National Jersey Jug Futurity and witness top Jerseys sold at auction at the National Jersey sale. According to Pennsylvania Jersey Cattle Association (PJCA) Secretary David Norman, the Pennsylvania dele gation is made possible through generous donations from busi nesses across Pennsylvania as well as contributions from PJCA. “Because we sponsor this trip and solicit donations to help with the cost, many more indi viduals have the chance to attend a national show,” he said. “This is an excellent experience for the youth and is something they remember for years to come.
